1. The agreement
By using PlantStack, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms form a contract between you and Northstack Studio, the maker of PlantStack.
2. Your account
PlantStack does not require an account. You do not sign up or provide a name, email, or password — the app just works, signing in anonymously in the background. You must be at least 13 years old to use PlantStack.
3. What you can do
You may use PlantStack for personal or commercial use, on the devices you own. You may not resell access, attempt to reverse-engineer the app, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
4. Using PlantStack
PlantStack is free to use, with unlimited plant identifications. This version has no subscriptions and no in-app purchases — there is nothing to buy and nothing to pay for.
5. Your content
The photos you scan and the plants you save to My Plants remain yours. For content you share with us, you grant us a limited license only to process it to identify your plants and deliver the service. We will never sell your photos or use them to train AI models. You can delete your photos and saved plants at any time.
6. Accuracy & service changes
PlantStack generates identifications and care guidance automatically and may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. Confidence scores are an estimate, not a guarantee. Do not rely on PlantStack to determine whether a plant is safe to eat, touch, or give to people or animals — always confirm with a qualified expert. The app is provided "as is" without warranty. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
7. Termination
You may stop using PlantStack at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. In serious cases (fraud, abuse), we may act without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Northstack Studio operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. If the change is material, we will post a notice on this page at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
